Top Ten Tuesday: Books on my Spring TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

I love this week’s theme and I feel like a need a bit of a refresh/reboot as winter turns to spring. I feel like my energy reserves have been seriously depleted lately and life is  taking up too much of it to have any left for reading!

But, fully confident that my reading bug is restored soon, I have a mixture of fiction and non-fiction I would love to get to in the next three months.

Let’s start with a trio of nature-related non-fiction:

1. Meadowland: The Private Life of an English Field (John Lewis-Stempel)
2. A Sweet, Wild Note (Richard Smyth)
3. Foxes Unearthed (Lucy Jones)

What better books to read in springtime than books about wildlife? I am looking forward to all of those!

Let’s have some more non-fiction:

4. Times New Roman (Martha Miller)
5. To The Promised Land: Martin Luther King and the Fight for Economic Justice (Michael K Honey)

Now, on to fiction:

There are some series I would really like to continue:

6. Royal Assassin (Robin Hobb) #2 in the Farseer Trilogy
7. Awakening (William Horwood) #2 in the Hyddenworld quartet
8. Break (Clare Littlemore) #2 in the Flow series

and finally a couple of standalones:

9. Heartstone (Elle Katharine White)
10. The Bees (Laline Paull)

That list makes me want to read so much! Thanks, Top Ten Tuesday! 🙂

    1. I loved Assassin’s Apprentice so much! I read it over New Year’s. I am trying to pace myself with the Hobb books. I know there is quite a few, but one every few months seems like a good way to read them 🙂
