What am I currently reading?
I started Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban yesterday. I have read it once before, but it was a long long time ago and I really don’t remember much. I remember the movie, but not the book. I am 50 odd pages in and I am enjoying it quite a bit so far. I feel like Rowling’s writing really improved in this one. So far so good.
What did I recently finish reading?
I finished Stephen King’s Misery yesterday. I thought it was a good read. Unsettling and hair raising without being too scary. I would like to read some more Stephen King in the future. I am sure I read one of his books before, but I can’t remember which one and I think it left me pretty cold. This one gets a thumbs up though!
What do I think I will be reading next?
Not sure. I have two classics on my TBR this month: Wives and Daughters by Elizabeth Gaskell (which I already started, got 50 pages in, and decided to pause it as I wasn’t in the mood) and The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins. I may give Wives and Daughters another go. Otherwise I may read Bird Box by Josh Malerman, which is another that’s on my TBR for this month. No fixed plans as of yet, but it may be one of those…. or something else altogether. 🙂

I think “Prisoner of Azkaban” might be my favorite in the Harry Potter series. Looking forward to hearing out the classics you will be reading. Here is my WWW: https://greatmorrisonmigration.wordpress.com/2018/10/17/www-wednesdays-october-17-2018/
So far I am really enjoying Prisoner of Azkaban more than the previous two, so you may be right!
Glad you enjoyed Misery! I read it a few years ago along with some other King novels, and I remember it as being my favorite out of the bunch. I’m making my way through the NBA shortlists right now, while also reading Flannery O’Connor’s collections on the side.
