WWW Wednesday: 2 January 2019

So , my first WWW of 2019. I feel like 2018 flew by and brought quite a few changes and ups and downs, but overall it has been a pretty good year, personally and reading-wise.

WWW Wednesdays is a meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you will read next?

Rowling, J K - Harry Potter 4 and the Goblet of FireWhat am I currently reading?

I am still reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I meant to finish it on New Year’s Eve, but I have simply been too busy! And when I stopped being busy, I just wanted to watch telly instead of reading. Not that Harry Potter is a chore to read. This is a good one. I have about 50 pages to go, so I am confident I will finish it today.

What did I recently finish reading?Johnson, Milly - A Winter Flame

I finished reading A Winter Flame by Milly Johnson on Christmas Day. That one was pretty disappointing. I had been saving it for Christmas reading, but though it was Christmassy and wintery enough the romance also left me pretty cold (ha!).

What do I think I will read next?

Barbieri, Kara - White StagI have 1 NetGalley ARC a month for the next few months, which is perfect and the next one is out on 8 January, which is White Stag by Kara Barbieri, so I will be reading that one next. The reviews I have seen so far are not that encouraging, but I will go into it with an open mind, as I have loved unpopular books before. Hopefully I will like it.

That’s it, my first WWW of 2019! Happy reading everyone!

      1. I can believe that easier than I can people who are determined to NEVER read them. That one is hard for me. I hope you enjoy them all! I think this will be my fifth read through.

    1. I love re-reading,but I have actually never read the last two books, so they will be new to me…. To be honest it has been something like fifteen years since I last read any Harry Potter previous to re-starting the series in 2018.

  1. Is this your first time reading Harry Potter or a re-read? I had intended to re-read it last year and never got around to it. Maybe this year…

Here’s my WWW 🙂 Have a great week!

    1. It’s a re-read for now (after about fifteen years!), but I have not read the final two books before, so they will be new to me 🙂
