WWW Wednesday: 13 March 2019

March has been pretty slow reading wise. Seemingly my February slump is carrying on. I am way too easily distracted. +

WWW Wednesdays is a meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you will read next?

What am I currently reading?

I am currenty reading The History of Bees by Maja Lunde. I am only 35 pages in and I am finding it hard to concentrate on, which is the problem I have been having these past few weeks. I am finding YA much easier to read at the moment. More tends to happen, so it takes less reading, if that makes sense. But I am not in the mood for YA right now so I have picked up The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare, which is a romance book, a rare beast in my reading arsenal. I just feel like reading something light and fluffy, which The History of Bees is not. I may put that one down and pick it back up later in the month.

What did I recently finish reading?
I actually finished three books in the past week, which sounds more impressive than it is. I finally finished reading The Clocks by Agatha Christie, but I also read My Heart and Other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga, and The Unbelievable Death of Joseph Goldberg and Other Stories by Oliver Franks. The latter is only just over 100 pages.

What do I plan on reading next?

Wilson, G Willow - The Bird KingI do have The Bird King by G Willow Wilson on my TBR for the coming week. That one is a NetGalley ARC and I should get on with it. It’s historical fiction I believe and I am a bit worried that I won’t be in the mood for it, but I will do my very best!

If I manage to read my two current reads and The Bird King this month, I will be happy!

Some months are harder than others!
