A VERY slow week readingwise! I am not slumpy, but I simply have had very little time to read (or blog or read blogs for that matter – booooo!).
WWW Wednesdays is a meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.

What am I currently reading?
I am currently reading A Man Called Ove (Fredrik Backman). I am about 60% in and I am really enjoying it. Such a wonderful way of telling a story and I am so glad I finally picked it up.
I am also reading an anthology called Moving Foreword which is edited by Jon Chattman, which came out this month. It’s a collection of forewords to books that don’t actually exist, which is a ridiculous concept. I am only 30 pages in and it is kind of fun and silly. I bought it because some of my favourite people, Keith Murray and Chris Caine from the band We Are Scientists, have written a story in it (a foreword to a book about Aerosmith that doesn’t exist). I did not get to that one yet, but I have no doubt it will be hilarious.
What did I recently finish reading?
The last book I finished was Dare by Natalia Jaster, which was the second book in the new adult Foolish Kingdoms series. It was a bit pants. Not too bad, but definitely not that good either. Such a shame as I really enjoyed the first book in the series.
What will I be reading next?
I am not sure yet. I think I will be mood reading for now.
So happy you’re enjoying A Man Called Ove!
Yaaaay, so glad to hear you’re enjoying A Man Called Ove. I’m in love with everything Backman, so it does my heart good when others discover/enjoy him. :3 If you like that, I highly recommend My Grandmother Asked Me To Tell You She’s Sorry by Fredrik Backman, if you haven’t read it already. There’s also a movie for A Man Called Ove on Amazon Prime right now, if you have that. I didn’t think it was as good as the book (they rarely are), but it had its own sort of charm, I thought.
Here’s my WWW post.
This was my first book by Fredrik Backman, but I will definitely be reading more by him in the future!
This has been a slow reading time for me also, Lola. A lot going on over the past few weeks, and I’m scrounging to find some time. Happy Reading! https://teripolen.com/2019/05/22/www-wednesday-what-am-i-reading-amreading-25/
Glad I am not the only one. My world has gone berserk lately. My days are so bitty, it’s hard to find time. I am sure that things will revert to normal soon… (I hope!)
Moving Foreword sounds really amusing. Also reminds me a bit of If on a winter’s night a traveler, though they seem pretty distinctly different too. Thanks for sharing!
