What am I currently reading?
I am currently reading The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, which is on my Classics TBR. I am just over halfway. I started out loving it, but the main character is starting to annoy me now. Fingers crossed I will like it overall.
What did I recently finish reading?
I have finished Elantris by Brandon Sanderson and Meadowland by John Lewis-Stempel. Both were really good, so it has been a good reading week, despite reading being a bit slow, due to other stuff going on in my life!
What do I think I will read next?
The books left on my TBR for this month are New Spring by Robert Jordan and This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen. I will start with New Spring tomorrow.
Quite a mixed bag this week. I’ve always been curious about The Bell Jar but have never gotten around to it. Hopefully it’ll get better for you.
Just finished The Bell Jar – it’s good, but I have read books like it before and it sort of lessened the impact that it would have had fifty years ago.
