WWW Wednesdays: 26 June 2019

A bit later than I wanted to today, but here’s my final WWW of the month! 🙂

WWW Wednesdays is a meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.

What am I currently reading?

I started This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen today. I felt like a lightish read and this is pretty much what the doctor ordered. It reads away pretty easily. I am also 14% into Best Foot Forward, which is the autobiography of Adam Hills, a comedian I absolutely love. I started reading that one on a whim.

What did I recently finish reading?

I finished reading New Spring by Robert Jordan earlier today. I really enjoyed that one.

What do I think I will read next?

I unexpectedly noticed that I got the e-ARC for Pan’s Labyrinth by Guillermo del Toro and Cornelia Funke on my NetGalley shelf today. It is out on 2 July, so it will be the first thing I will read after this. The movie is incredible and I can imagine it translating pretty well to novel format. Apart from that July is likely to be a month of light reads.

  1. It’s been a while since I’ve read a book by Dessen but am sure it’ll be a great summery read. Her writing is always great. I have Pan’s Labyrinth on my Netgalley shelf too. I started it but just couldn’t focus. Hopefully I’ll go back to it soon.
