WWW Wednesdays is a meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.

What am I currently reading?

Harrison, Melissa (Editor) - SummerI have started two new books today.

I have started my the last book that was on my July TBR, which is Summer: an Anthology for the Changing Seasons (edited by Melissa Harrison). I am not even going to try and finish it today, but I have read the first couple of Anderson, M T - Feedstories/poems and I am on page 6! Wow!

I have also started Feed, by M T Anderson, which is on my August TBR as part of my Lingering Books Project. I am about 50 pages in and it is really odd. It seems to be a YA book set in some sort of dystopian future where everyone has some sort of ‘feed’ implanted in their brain. I started out hating it, but I am kind of curious what is happening.

What did I recently finish reading?

Well, I had a very successful Reading Rush last week, so since last Wednesday I finished (yes, I am going to use bullet points!):

Spencer Davis, Lloyd - A Polar AffairI finished The Other Wives Club this morning. All of the above were 5 or 6 stars out of 7.

What do I think I will read next?

The first book I will be reading after Feed is A Polar Affair by Lloyd Spencer Davis. I have a NetGalley ARC for that one. It’s non-fiction about penguins and antarctic explorers. What’s not to like? It sounds great!

  1. I loved Nick and Norah! I had watched the movie years before but loved the book more (as usual!). I have Daisy Jones on my list because people raved and raved about it but I am hesitant because that much hype is so difficult to live up to.

It is so interesting that you read an Einstein graphic novel this week also! I wonder if yours was better than mine…

    1. This was my first book by her. I have Evelyn Hugo on my Kindle, so I will definitely read that at some point! I really enjoyed Daisy, even if the format did not quite hit the mark for me.

      1. It is her only book with this format . Evelyn is another world changer . I hope to see a review of yours for it when you’re done with it . I highly recommended it ! (And all of her books lol)

  2. Wow, looks like you had a good reading week! I’m glad to see you liked A Black Fox Running. Loved your review. I think I’m going to have to check that one out. I’ve really been into animal perspective books lately, for some reason. Happy reading!

    Here’s my WWW post.
