WWW Wednesday: 22 April 2020

The government here in The Netherlands are  are saying primary schools will open again in May in some form and that (non-contact) sports can start up again for the under 13s. We will see…. It still feels a long way away and much can happen to change that point of view…

In the meantime… Let’s distract myself by writing up this post 😉

WWW Wednesdays’ home is at Sam’s blog Taking On A World of Words. Check it out!

The three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you will read next?

What am I currently reading?

I am currently reading A Memory of Light by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson. I am about a third in of this 1000+ page book. I will try and finish it by the end of the month if i can. Can’t believe I will have finished this epic series for a second time then. I wonder if  I will ever read it again. Maybe in 20 years! The books are staying safely on my shelf until I do.

I have also picked up All The Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater. This one is on my 20 for 20 list. I am just over a third into that one as well. It’s strange, but I am enjoying. I have read the Raven cycle and The Scorpio Races and this is a bit different, but it is working for me so far.

Finally, I am still listening to The Return of the Native by Thomas Hardy, read by Alan Rickman. Although I am enjoying listening to Alan Rickman, the story does little for me, which is why it is taking me such a long time!

What have I recently finished reading?

Simone - Markham Hall 3 The Punishment of Ivy LeavoldI finished The Punishment of Ivy Leavold by Sierra Simone. I haven’t reviewed that one yet. It is a continuation of the Markham Hall series. It’s rather smutty romance and I am not sure I have that much to say about it. I gave it 4 out of 7 stars. It was not bad, but it is rather kinky. I will Sager, Riley - Final Girlsprobably mash it into a review when I have read another similar type of book. I am kind of in the mood for smutty romance, so you never know! It must be the fact that it is spring! 😂😂

I have also read Final Girls by Riley Sager. It was ok. That one was also 4 out of 7 stars for me. It just did not thrill me much, but I liked the writing well enough.

Harry, Debbie - Face ItWhat will I be reading next?

I have the autobiography Face It by Debbie Harry (of Blondie) on my Audible ready to go when I finish my current listen. I am not sure whether I will get to another physical book, but I may choose another e-book. I just do not know which one yet.
